Veronica Ann Sapiel

Sipayik - Veronica Ann Sapiel passed away in her home peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on August 14, 2018 she was 66 yrs old and Born on June 15 1952 to Mary Valentine Nicholas and Francis Linwood Sapiel. She was the Eldest of all of her four brothers and 4 sisters. Veronica also had four children Mikoo Mendoza, Minquansis Sapiel, Forrest Sapiel and Fawn Marie Sapiel and 12 grandchildren. She was given the name the Iron woman from a Close Friend because nothing could bring her down and through all her hardship and suffering she always managed to show her love. She started having symptoms due to the cancer 10 years ago and was officially diagnosed 6 years ago. During this time she took care of her two grandchildren fulltime overcoming 4 stage Cancer. She was one of the most amazing person overcoming so much in her life time. She had one of the biggest hearts always giving and showing unconditional love she will be missed by her family and friends ,But will live on in spirit flying high with the eagles and swimming with the depths of the ocean. Her love for her community, her family, her home over seeing the Passamaquoddy bay will allways remain.

Visiting hours will be held at 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on both Friday, August 17, 2018 and Saturday, August 18, at her home, 17 Water Tower Rd, Pleasant Point. Visiting hours will also be held in her home on Sunday, August 19 beginning at 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., at which time a celebration of Veronica’s life will be held.
