Condolence: We were shocked and saddened to read of Steve’s passing in the Jan. 24th Calais Advertiser. We will fondly remember our time playing rec volleyball with him as well as the times we watched the Blue Devils command the court or diamond. As a father, he demonstrated a keen interest in both Kelly’s and Shaun’s academics too. The Calais community has lost another of its citizens all too soon. To the Dow family we extend our heartfelt sympathy.

Condolence: Steve – I am so thankful that the good Lord brought us together and that we were able to become good friends. Sometimes burning a couple of steaks on the grill, watching the Red Sox, and sharing a few laughs together just makes everything seem alright. You are loved and you will be missed by many. Rest easy Steve. We’ll do it all over again one day.

Condolence: I extend my heartfelt sympathy to Mr. Dow's family. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered. You can find great comfort in the hope for the future present in the bible. At Isaiah 25: 8, the Bible promises a time when God “will swallow up death forever.” Also, Acts 24:15 boldly states, "there is going to be a resurrection." The resurrection this verse talks about will give us the opportunity to see our lost loved ones again on Earth. I know it will be a joyous time when you can reunite with Mr. Dow! I invite you to visit JW.ORG for more information on this comforting hope.
