Condolence: I am so saddened to hear of Mrs. G's passing. I don't remember a period of my education in Eastport that she wasn't involved in. Mrs. G was the type of teacher that believed in you when you didn't believe in yourself. She was someone i could turn to no matter what. I spent many hours in her classroom talking, organizing art supplies, and getting math help. A wonderful soul who will be greatly missed.
Condolence: I was surprised and saddened to hear of Karla's passing. Please know that my heart and thoughts are with the Gamertsfelder family at this time of grieving. Your mother/grandmother was a hard working, caring woman with whom I had the pleasure of teaching alongside at CHS for many years. Her students' welfare was second only to the welfare of her children. May the precious memories you have of times together help you through the headache you are feeling. Here's hoping that you will find comfort in your memories of her. -- Lynda Duplissea
Condolence: To the family of Karla Rhea Gamertsfelder,
I am sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing that "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18) With sympathy,
Condolence: My condolence to the family of a wonderful woman. I remember having her as a teacher at CHS. She was wonderful and always in the halls and greeting me every morning. Sorry for the loss of a wonderful woman and fabulous teacher.
Condolence: Mrs. G, you taught me more than any other teacher. You taught me to be me even before I knew who I was as a freshman in high school more than 30 years ago. You’ll be greatly missed and loved by the students who you impacted over your career. Xoxo
Deepest condolences on the loss of your Mom. I worked many years in Eastport with your Mom, and was saddened to read of her passing. Such a gentle soul will certainly be welcomed Home with love. Prayers for strength and peace during this sad time.
Condolence: Dear Family, your mom's passing was a complete shock to me. I worked at Calais High School with her. I can remember when one of you (Nick, I think) was very sick; we all were so concerned. So sorry to hear the news that she has passed. Share your memories and remember the good times.
