Sue, Arnie, Derek & Family - So sorry and sad to hear of the loss of Arnold. He was a great husband, father, coach & friend. I loved watching him coach basketball. When I would see him, we would always talk about the good old "Milltown" days. He gave me a list of the Nicknames of all the old-timers from Milltown - there were a lot and so funny! They are all there waiting for you Arnold. You are now Heaven's gain and Milltown's loss. You will be so missed by Milltown and Calais. Rest in peace dear Milltown friend and favorite coach.

Sue, Arnie and Derek our condolences for your loss. I had a lot of pleasant memories of working with Arnold when I was on the school board. He taught me a lot about negotiations. People have expressed a lot about his sports, teaching and other items that he was good at but none talked about how great of a negotiator he was. I was usually on the negotiation committee when I served on the board. Sometimes it was very difficult but I learned from him. I really think the last time when I negotiated I was not quite at par with him but I think I was getting close. We had several talks over the years and the last time we talked at the Elementary school he told me that he may run for the Senate but he wanted to teach as long as he could. I encouraged him to do it. I was hoping that he was going to jump in the race in the future. He was good at what he did and maybe he could have taught a few of the legislators how to really negotiate. RIP Arnold. .
