Life Legacy
Calais – Marjorie Cecilia Morrison, 92, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at a Bangor hospital. Marjorie was born in Kingman on June 29, 1919, daughter of the late Edmond and Mary (Gass) Meaghear. After graduating school in New Brunswick, Canada, she worked as a receptionist for a Calais dentist, Dr. Bunker, as a service representative for the telephone company, and last as a sales clerk for Sears in Calais. On May 18, 1957 she married Lloyd Morrison. Marjorie was a Communicant of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church in Calais and enjoyed reading and traveling. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband Lloyd in 2005. Surviving are her cousins William Barter of Chezzetcook, Nova Scotia, and Joyce McFarlane of St. Andrews, NB; and her special friend and care giver Nancy McCann of St. Stephen, NB. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Calais Cemetery. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
