How do we express our emotions after loosing such a wonderfully sweet lady who was like a second "Mom" to me from the time I met her until she left. You girls were so fortunate to have such an amazing Mom. She was funny, she was a protector, a loving woman, who loved life and lived it to the fullest. Hold the memories of her close to your hearts and she will be right there watching over you. Our deepest and sincere sympathy to both Joan and Jean and the entire family at this very difficult time. Love, Rosie & Mike

To all the families of Ruaath Hartford I knew Rutahie all of her life. She was a Milltowner as I was too. Ruthie and I took the Clerk Typist Course at the Middle School Mr. Newman was the instructor. He would ask me a question and I would reply it's probably wrong and Ruthie would call me p.w. or probably wrong. Every time she saw me she would remind me. Ruthie was a lovely person and she loved her families. I will sure miss her. She was my great friend. Tippy

Well Gram, your finally with Gramp again. There are so many things i will miss about you! You were so "full of it" and always ready for a good time! If I could play one more game of cards with you, I'd stack the deck for you so you wouldn't have to cheat! Ha! I wouldn't even ask you to split the sixty cent pot! I remember how when I was a kid, every time I was coming to stay the night you'd get us some hot dogs, I loved them too! I wonder if you always thought you had to cook them for an hour? They were always good! Remember the sugar shack and how you would get after us kids about going down there, going to Cecil's store, visiting Edie and Donnie and how about raving about Vinnie's? I will always be thankful for the times you always seemed to show up at my kids naptime, just in time to rock them! You were a wonderful grandmother to me and to my kids, I love you dearly. I know you're in a better place, see ya when I get there! Give Gramp hugs n kisses
God Bless Gram, All our love

Oh my goodness... Great Auntie Ruth and Uncle Bud were both such a tremendous help to my mom, Jennie McCarthy, daughter of Mercedes (Wheelock) & Clifford McCarthy back in 1978 when we came to Calais, ME to pick up my grandmother, Mercedes McCarthy. I will always have such warm, loving, caring, and fond memories of the time spent in Maine, and having my great auntie and uncle Rut & Bud to be there daily... and Bud and I would watch "The Incredible Hulk" nightly laughing and pretending us both being the hulk.

Aunt Ruth... I am so sorry for not have been able to connect with you way before your turn for the next journey.

I will love you, great Auntie Ruth, always and forever.

Love, Linda J. Travers-Inglima
