From the first mill physical back in the 60s until our last conversation on your 100th birthday, I'll always remember and treasure those moments. You are one fine lady Ella, and we know where you are right now. Put in a good word for us........

I am so glad that I was able to get home for the 100th anniversary of St James Parish and see Ella - joyful as ever. John and I always looked forward to seeing her whenever we came home. I am honored to be be pictured with her and my sister, Lisa, at the St James celebration.

I always remember selling girl scout cookies to Ella when I was younger, and playing around the neighborhood by her house. She will be missed.

I am saddened to read that Ella is deceased. When I met her in 1995, she was vibrant and seemed to be getting all she could out of life. I don't know if anyone ever reads these, but I am her daughter. I would be grateful if her loved ones would find it in their hearts to contact me. If anyone has any other pictures of my family, I'd love to see them. I know nothing of my roots other than her what she told me the day we met. I can't help but wonder if I have cousins or even siblings from my father's side. Please contact me if you can help.
